I highly recommend you purchase it, if you want a good sandbox space games. It's almost a simulator, but with a hint of an arcade element :)

I agree, it looks great. I bought it about a week ago, but was pretty busy so I din’t spent too much time with it, jut went through the first tutorial.

I’ve landed safely on the north pole—is there any way to bring them back? :)

PS: Has anybody successfully used a controller (joystick or the PS3 controller) with the Mac version? Steam detects the PS3 controller, but it looks like Kerbal does not.

Yes if they've landed safely, you can 'recover' them by going to the tracking station building, selecting the craft and the select 'Recover'. I'm trying to get my kerbal as close to the launch site as possible. No easy task, but challenging ;)

'Space Agency' is fun, too. Covers all aspects from launch, orbital manoeuvres to descent/landing.
Can't remember where I found out about it - probably here ;)

If you like Space Agency, check out SimpleRockets too.
(I’m not affiliated with either)

Oh Spoonboy, why did you do this to me?
I found Space Agency for my Android and now I´m addicted to it.

Anyway, thanks for that!

Heh, you're welcome :)
It's simple, but fun when you get it right.
I've looked for SimpleRockets, but I think it's iOS-only..
