Thanks :) . The crawler needs a bit of work on lighting. The MLP needs some details such as CCTV, hatches and panels adding. I'm also going to tweak the ET and SRBs. I hope to keep it all under 100,000 verts. The launch tower will push this over...

Convince your girlfriend to buy the Bandai model for your next birthday (or xmas if it is sooner) and you'll see some of these details. ;)
But George's model is even better. 8-)

When you think of it, the Space Shuttle Program was a truly crazy thing to think, design and build. It's a one-of-its-kind vessel, and it will certainly remain so, as it is very unlikely that mankind will ever venture again in designing such a complex machine. Every component of it is a work of genius. Take the SSMEs for instance: some very beautiful pieces of hardware. So much power in such a tiny space! Or the GPCs: the most reliable computers ever built. And so on. It's a piece of wonder, and it will remain so for the decades to come.

Thanks all. One day I would like to model the innards of the orbiter, ET, SRB, OMS pods and the SSME but these will have to wait... 8-)
