Clouds and new screenshots

I've finished the work on the "overcast" cloud layer. Here are some screenshots:

There's also a runway overlay in the HUD now. I'll work on a night approach and then release it as the first update. Stay tuned ;-)

I guess you had to use some trigonometric formulas for the runway on the Hud.. ?

Actually, it's a feature I was going to ask you ! I already had collected some screenshots to illustrate my propose. Thoughts transmission ;)

About the cloud layer, is it a static 2D layer or are the clouds in 3D, with moves and thickness ?

Can't wait for the update to be released ! :D

And if you need beta test... I'm widely open !

It's multiple layers so I guess that counts as 2.5D ;)

this is all amazing stuff. i was wondering not to sound impatient but if you have an estimated date of the release of the new update?

I guess the standard answer to that question is real soon now ;)

I think it should be ready (and tested) by the end of this week. Once I submit it we'll have to wait for Apple to review it (last time it took just 4 days, but it can take up to two weeks or even longer).
