Landing Questions

I've had this app for years but have never been able to get beyond a "crash landing" on the runway. Any suggestions? I can put it down on the runway but I've always had too much speed and too much weight coming down on the rear two wheels. I can put the nose down within an acceptable range.

here are some tips:

* practice final approaches before trying the full ones.
* turn on the “visual glide slope” in the view settings. This will display the optimal approach path as a corridor of rectangles. Try to stay within that corridor.
* When about 50 feet above the runway, closely watch the velocity-vector (VV) in the HUD. It’s the symbol that looks like a tiny aircraft (a circle with wings and rudder). It shows the direction you’re going, so if it’s above the horizon, you’re gaining altitude, and if it’s below the horizon, you’re sinking. Slowly pull up and keep the VV just a notch below the horizon.

This way, with some practice, you should be able to perform safe landings.
To get good or even perfect landings, watch the demo flight and read the tutorials (available on the help screen).

If you need more help, please don’t hesitate to ask.
