Isn't it a bit, er... hard to miss a Perfect only because of landing at 6.1 ft/s and thus getting a Hard instead?!

Well, there has to be a threshold, and the 6ft/s is the official NASA figure.

Yes, but a difference of 600000 points for a fraction over the limit...
